Under the Big Top 2019!
Photos are here! Thank you to everyone who came and supported the food bank at the 2019 “Under the Big Top” Fundraiser held at Ceruti’s Catering Inc on Illinois Rd and I-69. We would especially like to thank our headline sponsor, STAR Financial Bank for helping to host this event and Linda Jackson News for attending as our emcee! (By the way, one lucky door prize winner won dinner with Linda Jackson donated by Ruth’s Chris Fort Wayne.)
We were delighted to see Mayor Tom Henry, who offered a surprise lunch or dinner with a lucky winner at our live auctions conducted by Schrader Auction! Poptique Popcorn came to give their awesome popcorn flavors out to our guests, and Pyroscope Entertainment provided some great entertainment. We’d like to also thank Trinity Salmon, who provided fortune telling for the event, and the Allen County Public Library for filming the event. And a big shout out to Moring’s Flowers and Gifts, who made beautiful flower arrangements for the event! We couldn’t have imagined any arrangements more beautiful!
This year’s Jane Avery Friend of the Food Bank award was presented to Marilyn Salon, a wonderful person and supporter for hunger relief. We have been proud to call Marilyn a friend, and Carmen and John were very excited to give her this award.
