Get Ready for #UCanCrushHunger 2023! October 23 through November 10

Join local colleges and universities in the fight against hunger during the 9th annual U Can Crush Hunger campaign! Huntington University, Indiana Tech, Indiana University Fort Wayne, Ivy Tech, Manchester University, Purdue Fort Wayne, Trine University, and the University of Saint Francis return to this friendly food and fund drive competition to claim the traveling trophy.  This event helps Community Harvest provide meals to thousands of northeast Indiana families during the holidays, and supports food pantries on college campuses for students struggling with food insecurity. Community Harvest Food Bank’s 9^th Annual U Can Crush Hunger Campaign final weigh-in results are in! Huntington University, Indiana Tech, Indiana University Fort Wayne, Ivy Tech, Manchester University, Purdue University Fort Wayne, Trine University, and the University of Saint Francis have accumulated a tremendous total amount of 121,391 pounds towards our 125,000 pound goal. This is a whopping 14,462 pounds more than was raised in 2022!

It was a very close competition and we want to thank each of the schools for their tremendous efforts! This is the first competition that has been won by Trine University. Congratulations to them and all of the competitors for making this another successful year!

The standings are as follows:

• 1^st Place: Trine University with 31,400 pounds
• 2^nd Place: Purdue University Fort Wayne with 27,814 pounds
• 3^rd Place: University of Saint Francis with 24,498 pounds
• 4^th Place: Indiana Tech with 13,661 pounds
• 5^th Place: Ivy Tech with 8,664 pounds
• 6^th Place: Huntington University with 5,581 pounds
• 7^th Place: Indiana University Fort Wayne with 4,959 pounds
• 8^th Place: Manchester University with 4,814 pounds

First Week Weigh-in Results!

Fort Wayne, Ind.: Community Harvest Food Bank’s 9^th Annual U Can Crush Hunger Campaign mid weigh-in results are in! Huntington University, Indiana Tech, Indiana University Fort Wayne, Ivy Tech, Manchester University, Purdue University Fort Wayne, Trine University, and the University of Saint Francis have already accumulated a tremendous total amount of 52,718 pounds towards our 125,000 pound goal.

We are thrilled to announce the results of our first weigh-in. The competition is not over! Online voting will continue until November 10^th at www.CHFB.org.

The standings are as follows:

• 1^st Place: University of Saint Francis with 14,092 pounds
• 2^nd Place: Purdue University Fort Wayne with 10,340 pounds
• 3^rd Place: Indiana Tech with 9,136 pounds
• 4^th Place: Ivy Tech with 4,607 pounds
• 5^th Place: Indiana University Fort Wayne with 4,316 pounds
• 6^th Place: Trine University with 3,814 pounds
• 7^th Place: Huntington University with 3,458 pounds
• 8^th Place: Manchester University with 2,956 pounds
