January 2017 Volunteer of the Month – Congrats Joyce W!
Congratulations to our Volunteer of the Month for January, Joyce W. Joyce began volunteering with Community Harvest about five months ago as a way to keep busy during the winter months. She comes in 3 times a week for several hours at a time and enjoys working with clients and helping stock shelves in Community Cupboard. Joyce says helping in Cupboard is “what brings the most joy, just seeing the people and how much they appreciate.”
When asked what she would share with somebody who had never heard of Community Harvest before, Joyce shared that Community Harvest is “a really good cause … I’ve had people I know come through the line on Saturdays, it really makes a difference in people’s lives.”
Our staff would like to thank Joyce for making a difference in our Community every day.
