Grains of Hope with E Brewing Company and Community Harvest Food Bank

Grains of Hope is a collaborative initiative with northeastern Indiana craft breweries to help fight hunger in the communities we share and love. For our third beer in this series, Community Harvest has partnered with E Brewing Company out of South Whitley, working together to produce a beer that we hope can start a conversation with craft beer lovers, brewers, and anyone else looking to get involved with the mission of hunger relief. Over time, we hope to see more businesses, breweries or otherwise, eager to join the conversation on how we can get creative in our fight against hunger. Have an idea? Reach out. We’d love to grab a beer and talk.

The purchase of every glass of Grains of Hope from E Brewing Company donates $1 to Community Harvest in our mission to alleviate hunger. Your patronage and support help the breweries that partner with us continue to do so, and the proceeds offset the cost of donated and/or purchased food that is distributed directly to those in need throughout our nine-county service area.

All of the ingredients in this saison are locally sourced, including blackberries from Cordes Berry Farm LLC and lavender from Laporte, Indiana. Saisons, known for their intricate flavor profiles are a little less known, but also, they’re rad, so we wanted to make one! The beer will be released at E Brewing Company (8324 W State Rd 14, South Whitley, IN 46787) on Saturday, August 3rd. Details to follow. Come see us and grab a beer for a good cause!

Keep an eye out for more Grains of Hope brews in the coming months. The struggle with hunger in our community is ongoing, and thus so are our partnerships and efforts to help. Talk to your favorite breweries and follow us and them on social media to keep on top of what’s coming next and where you can find it.
